But in one point he is right. Ins is not playable in any competitive way. We played ESL wars with ppl disconnecting every 3 minutes sad.gif

That issue plus the fucked up hitboxes can drive players in the direction luoson is heading !

But it is obvious the problem is not that wide. I know I have only encountered end-round discs.

I am not bothered with the hitboxes anymore after I tweaked my rates etc. As long as you play with fewer people, the server does not suck and you have good settings it should be all fine.

I tested with these for isntance:
cl_smooth 0
cl_smoothtime 0
cl_lagcomp_errorcheck 1

While I can't stand behind this user in tone, I can understand his frustration. I do know that traffic to the server I run has been hurt since this latest update, especially when it disconnects 8 people in a go. We are starting to be full most of the time again, but it seems to be harder to get new players to the game to keep playing. I would very much prefer more minor updates with higher frequency rather than huge add-everything updates all at once.

well here we go please dont ban him

as he is normally quite respectful.

I feel his frustration as i have been able to play for about 10 min before CTDT

i have played this game since it's first release.

every thing else in the patch is good (sort of) but the CTDT is killing this game

the servers are half empty when u do get on a server with people on it 5 mins CTDT

after 2 or three of these its off to play something else.

this is not good enough by any standard.

Dr i would say u should know better than to release this buggy shit.

but u do work for EA enough said

While I think that Insurgency is so far good, the direction it is taking is of one that is COD4 clone. There is no teamwork in most servers, squads never stay together, the map design is flawed and feels claustrophobic, and there is no reason for teamwork at all. With an AK47, you are a sniper, a machine gun, and a rifleman.

We need to clearly define roles here.

I edited my shit because it was to offensive and wasnt called for, i was spewing over losing 5 hours of shit and had one to many whiskys. I should of took my fustration out on a punchin bag or something i guess
